A Little of This & That
I just received my first bottle of Soak (I ordered it in Citrus) and it is so nice! It isn’t an overpowering orange scent, either, actually, I can’t exactly place what citrus scent I am detecting, but it’s..well, a refreshing scent that is not too “perfumy”.
I also got my Andrea Wong Knitting Pins in today! They make knitting Portuguese Style so much easier than putting the yarn around the back of your neck(I’ve found doing this is extremely hard when you need to put your knitting down in a hurry).
What’s on the needles…still working on the Patons Grace Knit Cardigan from the Patons free patterns page. I’m not real inspired to work on anything else right now…I have lots of yarn that needs to be worked up…but you know how that goes…you aren’t in the mood to work with the yarn you have…so I was thinking of getting some yarn for this:

I love the linen stitch on this. I’ve never seen the linen stitch actually used on anything (I probably lead a sheltered knitting life) and the texture is very interesting to me, I’m itching to try it.
On other news, my socks won BoS for the State Fair and the Leisure Arts Knitting Division BoS. I was so shocked! I didn’t think I’d more than third place at the very best, but wow! Was I surprised!
