Well, I FINALLY finished those baby booties from the Heirloom Knitting Book by Sharon Miller!!! YIPPPEEE!!!! It took me about a month to finish a pair. I know, you’re probably wondering, “Why on earth did they take so long?” They are a bead fagotting stitch and are made on 2-ply cobweb lace yarn (which is just like 1 ply of the embroidery thread). I’ve made and frogged many, many, many times and then the first one didn’t work out, so it was scrapped and I made two more and thankfully, they turned out great. Now that I’ve knitted this pattern so many times, it has become easier. Practice makes perfect, well, not perfect, but at least not frazzled ![]()
