Fresco Top Class

Carol and Nancy came over yesterday and finished up their Fresco Tank Tops. I’m sorry I didn’t get a picture of their Finished Products to show, maybe I can get one at our next Love Knots meeting. I’m so proud of these ladies! They stuck to their goal and now have the skills to make sweaters like they wanted to last winter! YIPPEE!!! It was so fun teaching them to knit these up, too, I have a lot of fun with them ![]()
My friend Linda, is making a Fresco as well, and I need to get together with her to see how her progress is coming along. This is her first knitting project, too! What a trooper!
As for my own knitting, I still haven’t finished my Monkey socks, though the cuff is nearly done now and I can knit the scrap yarn in for the Afterthought Heel and get busy on the foot. I haven’t cast-on again for the Jigsaw Socks yet. I think I’ll just buy bigger needles because I really need them for a couple more projects I have on my “projects-to-do” list. I did make a hair band from the elastic cotton yarn from the Sock It To Me Collection called “Esprit”. It’s like 83% cotton and 17% elastic. I have it in the periwinkle color and it’s very pretty. I got the pattern from Knit Picks
free pattern that was in their catalog I received last month. I need to get busy and finish my other projects too, not to mention the king size quilt in my craftroom begging to be worked on ![]()
Well, no knitting today because I’m off to help host a baby shower for a friend that had her little boy in May. We’re having a “Diapers and Such” party. I made melon balls and monkey bread..woopeee!
But seriously, I’m sure we’ll all have a lot of fun and I can get my baby fix, hee, hee.
