Bunny Tails and Panda Cotton

Mr. BunnyMr. Bunny

Look what I found in my front yard!! Isn’t he cute?

He’s very friendly. The kids we named him “Mr. Bunny”.

I got the idea here and although I made it in garter stitch instead of stockinette, I think it turned out okay.

Bamboo/cotton yarn Here’s my latest purchase: Panda Cotton from Crystal Palace Yarns. It’s 56% Bamboo, 25% and 16% elastic nylon. I have wanted to try some for a while now and the bonus was I’ve been looking for this very color but couldn’t find it in a wool sock yarn. I love the feel of it because it’s soooo soft!

It is a 4-ply yarn, so I shouldn’t have a problem with splitting like I’ve heard from some other bamboo yarns that have 14-plys.

If you’ve ever knit with this yarn and know of a good sock pattern, please let me know!

Neat yarn. I’ve never knit with bamboo before.
