What I’ve Been Doing
Here’s the diaper bag as I’m trying to stretch it into a rectangle of sorts so I can sew up the sides and put on the pockets before I felt it.
This is what it’s supposed to look like when I get done.
This is the center of my crepe shawl from Sharon Miller’s “Heirloom Knitting” book. It is simple garter stitch increased at the end of every row, but the yarn is as thin as sewing thread, so it’s slow going.
Ta-da! I made this Tulip cuff on size 1’s and I doubt if it will fit a three year old! I will start again on size 3’s.

I finally made another apron! This time I used a Simplicity pattern #4282.
So, as you all can see I’ve been pretty busy lately! Well, time to start school with the kiddos…

Very cool, Lori. I made a small felted mail bag that is like the diaper bag. I started with a rectangle and sewed it up, leaving a flap to cover the opening. It was my first felted project and I was very pleased with how it turned out. Since then, I’ve had some failures with felting, but I still enjoy doing it.
Nice apron!

Holy crap! That’s some good knitting!
