Spring Clearing

Three years later:
The stump you see is a triple pine tree that just up and died six months ago, and the single tree you see now next to it, was a combination of cedar tree and honeysuckle wrapped around the little ol’ wild cherry tree (at least that’s what I think it is). So, after much cutting and clearing away ~Ta-da! Instantly a bigger, cleaner backyard! The grass still hasn’t filled in around the swingset like I want, but it’s all clay right there and seed grass won’t grow, at least the seed I’ve planted, doesn’t grow, ha. I’m so glad we got that done when we did because like I said yesterday, it’s COLD OUTSIDE!! I just want to stay indoors and knit, maybe I’ll actually get some progress done on my spring skirt, hmmm?
