Just a little chit chat
I’m working on making an afterthought heel on my fair Isle sock, I will post later today or tomorrow with all the pictures and make it a tutorial. I wanted to mention some cute stuff of my darling kiddos. The other day, my 6yr old was trying to spell different words like hat, cap, dog, etc. So, my dh (who’s name is Craig) says, “Spell…Craig.” She replies, “Oh that’s easy! D-A-D-D-Y.” She’s too sweet!
Both our girls introduced DH’s jazz band last Saturday night. They worked up a script and it turned out so good!
It’s cold again….arrgggg. I’m so ready for spring!!! We (the family) were looking at photo albums yesterday and I saw all the beautiful green grass and the leaves on the trees on pics from previous springs and summers and I got short-timers with this cold winter!!! 
I’m hoping President’s Day will be nice and maybe we can go play at the park, we really need to get outside. I haven’t let the kids play in the back yard much because it’s still so muddy back there and that clay stains EVERYTHING! Nothing like orange clay mud to ruin your clothing!!
Okay, I’m done ranting about clay, I’m gonna leave now and finish my sock! (or as Kim Opperman of Socks For Soldiers says, “I’ll shut up now and go to my chair and knit a while.)
