My New Effort To Bring In Customers

knitting sign

You see, two weeks ago, I had 3 prospective students coming to the LYS for me to teach them how to knit, and then the day before, they all had to cancel :(

Tomorrow, I will be at the LYS and I hope there is someone to teach. Maybe if I stand outside by the road with this sign, people will have pity on me and come in to learn this fiber art.

Onto lighter news….. I taught a friend to knit last night at our quilting group. What? Aren’t you supposed to quilt at a quilting group? Well, technically, yes. But I bought her a starter’s kit (a skein of yarn and a set of needles) and so we hurried up and nearly finished a quilt top (by machine) and then took the last hour, and I taught her to knit. She picked it up so fast! I was really impressed with how well she did. I have another lady that I just met at quilting and she needs me to show her the bind-off stitch. She has made a scarf, but can’t figure out how to finish it.

PROVERB OF THE DAY: For a man’s ways are in full view of the LORD,
and he examines all his paths. Prov 5:21
